songs n stuff

wow.. last night was freaking crazy :D gotta enjoy it while I still don't have exams

Anyway, just wondering - what kind of music do you guys like? When I was younger I used to download everything mainstream, watched mtv a lot, aw god, the memories of downloading songs in limewire on a 56kbit connection..

Well, obviously as I grew older I started developing my own tastes more focused on some bands other than mainstream ones. But nowadays I don't really listen to anything new - don't watch mtv, sometimes listen to radio while driving and hate those songs.

So tell me, what am I missing?

    I listen mostly to indie/alternative rock. I find that simply browsing iTunes is the way to go for discovering new music. Find something that interests you and click on albums that "other people bought".

    Right now I'm listening mostly to instrumental soundtracks, but I just got into Regina Spektor. I like her kookiness. Hmm... I also like The Bloody Beetroots.

    Nice post man, keep it up. I think what you may be missing out on is new rock n roll supergroups. Them Crooked Vultures has guys from Led Zepp, Queens Of The Stone Age, and Foo Fighters, and the band Chickenfoot has Joe Satriani and Sammy Hagar. I think they're awesome.
